Chocolate Lace Flower Plants

Easy to grow, easy to love, with a sweet subtle scent. Lace Flowers bloom all summer, and are perfect for cutting to add to bouquets. This Chocolate Lace flower is a gorgeous mix of burgundy hues, ranging from deep inky maroon to a dusty light pink color, for a beautiful ombre effect.

For a knock out love letter, use your Chocolate Lace Flowers to make your own ink! Here's how: Collect and dry petals from about 5 flowers. Toss into a mortal and pestle, and grind to a powder. Add a tiny bit of boiling water, just enough to cover the powder and mix. Leave in a sunny spot in your house for 24 hours. Strain with a coffee filter or cheesecloth, and voila. Get a fine brush and write/paint away.

Includes three young plants, grown in 2.5” diameter pots.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Hi! I live in southeast Michigan, can I grow these indoors over the winter?

They are generally treated as summer annuals. They could be grown in a greenhouse, but they do not make good houseplants. They need sun, air flow, lots of water, etc.
