Description
The creamy buff petals of the Ivory Princess Calendula is a calming alternative to the traditional orange variety. is often used medicinally, as a tea to help with sore throat. To do this, dry the petals, and then either steep the petals in boiling water (1 teaspoon per cup of water) for 15 minutes.

How to Plant
Spread in the dirt 1/8" deep, 2" apart. Water gently and regularly as seedlings emerge over the next 2 weeks. Once babies are 2” tall, pluck so there's just one per 8-12".

Care Instructions
Water regularly until they get established, and then give them extra water during dry spells. Pick the flowers regularly to encourage more blooms.
Extra Credit
Avid self-seeder. It is also used as a skin balm to help with sunburn or poison ivy. To make a balm, fill a glass jar with dried Calendula flowers, and fill to cover the flowers with jojoba oil. Cover and let steep for 3-4 weeks before straining.
