Snowdrop Anemone (Anemone Sylvestris) is also called windflower for the way the delicate white blooms on wirey stems nod in the wind. It likes shadey areas with plenty of moisture, so it's perfect for a woodland-type garden, and will colonize the area if it's happy. Pretty blue-green foliage makes a nice groundcover once the blooms have passed.
Planting conditions: It can tolerate all sorts of soil, but will naturalize best with well drained soil and regular water.
Sun: Part-shade is ideal, can tolerate closer to full-shade.
Blooms: Mid-Spring through early Summer.
Perennial: Snowdrop Anemone comes back each year in zones 2-9. It will spread slowly if it's happy.
Ships: Beginning in the Spring, in a 4.5" diameter pot.
