Algerian Ivy Plants

Hi, meet Algerian Ivy. It can be used as ground cover, a spiller for a hanging pot, or it can climb up your brick wall, tree, or fence with its tiny ivy feet. It prefers almost total shade. It's also evergreen, perennial, and speaks French.

Algerian Ivy's structural green-and-cream leaves are sort of chic, old school, understated classy. It's elegant, but tougher than old boots - the Katharine Hepburn of plants.

Includes three young plants, grown in 2.5” diameter pots.

Growing Info
How to Plant Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Fill a little bit of the loose dirt back into the hole and tuck your plant in so the base of the stem is even with the top of the hole. Now fill in the rest of the soil around the roots, give the soft ground around the base of your new plant friend a few solid pats to compress the soil onto the roots, and a long, gentle drink of water.
Where to Plant Find a place that gets mostly shade, in well draining soil.

When to Plant Early spring, or late fall if winters are mild.
When to Expect Blooms Here for the foliage.
Care Instructions Water regularly.  Prune back as needed to prevent unwanted spread.
Extra Credit Train vines to go in the direction you'd like them to grow to cover ground, climb up a wall, etc. Prefers a sheltered location.
