Aquarius Seed Bundle
Aquarius gardeners, freestyle esoterica will make your garden sing. Your Aquarius gardening style reminds us of the neighbor in Edna St. Vincent Millay's poem:
"She digs in her garden with a shovel and a spoon, she weeds her lazy lettuce by the light of the moon."
This is the garden that Alice B Toklas, leader of the Parisian avant-garde in the 20's, would have planted for her love and life partner Gertrude Stein (an Aquarius). Unique is the love language of the Aquarius. Grow art.
Includes five types of Aquarius-esque flower seed tubes, individually packed in a little cotton bag: Black Swan Breadseed Poppy, Chocolate Morning Glory, Flying Saucer Morning Glory, Cream Troika Nasturtium, and Purple Emperor Nasturtium.
Specific planting instructions are printed on each individual seed tube, but general instructions are below.
How to Plant | Stick in the dirt 1/4" deep, 2" apart. Water gently & regularly as seedlings emerge over the next 2 weeks. Once babies are 2” tall, pluck so there's just one per 9-12" |
Where to Plant | Find a place that gets mostly sun, with decent soil |
When to Plant | Spring, after your average last frost, or start inside 4-6 weeks earlier |
When to Expect Blooms | All summer! |
Care Instructions | Water regularly until established, and pick the flowers regularly (Bring the flowers in! Make bouquets! Have fun!) to encourage more blooms |
Extra Credit | Plant a few seedlings in random places along your commute route (guerrilla gardening) |
