QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Can you make this bloom year after year? If so how?
To keep your amaryllis blooming year after year, start by letting it finish flowering naturally—don’t cut the leaves, as they help feed the bulb. Keep watering just enough to keep the soil lightly moist and give it bright, indirect light through summer so it can recharge. When the leaves start to yellow in late summer, reduce watering and let it go dormant in a cool, dark place for about 8–10 weeks. After that rest, bring it back to a sunny windowsill, water lightly, and watch for new growth. A little patience and the right cycle of growth, rest, and light will reward you with fresh blooms every winter!
