Hens and Chicks Breadseed Poppies are that classic, tissue-paper poppy with red and purple petals, but their real focal point is their ornate seed pods: a primary seed surrounded my dozens of tiny seeds. A stem of Hens and Chicks adds texture and interest to any bouquet.

How to Plant	Stick in the dirt 1/8" deep, 2" apart. Water gently & regularly as seedlings emerge over the next 2 weeks. Once babies are 2” tall, pluck so there's just one per 9"

When to Plant	Early spring, or late fall if winters are mild. Needs cool weather to germinate: 50-60 degrees. Sow directly into garden
