Hopflower Oregano is a beautifully colored ground cover plant that looks best where it can drape over the edge of a garden or container. They hop-shaped blooms are a pale green to blush color, and they have a fragrant and sculptural quality that look great in the foreground of the garden.
Planting conditions: Once it's established, it is drought tolerant and only needs extra water if there's a long stretch without water.
Sun: Full sun is ideal, some shade is ok.
Blooms: Blooms in summer and will fade to a golden color. Can be dried for Winter bouquets as well.
Perennial: Will come back each year reliably in zones 4-10
Zone: 4-10. Deer Resistant. Can also be grown in containers or indoors. Not-edible.
