Mulberry Rose Love in a Mist Plants

We are tickled to introduce these wine-colored Nigellas to our Love in a Mist Plantgem family; sculptural blooms in an array of plum and mauve shades. Like their cousins, they'll happily grow anywhere, self-seed with alacrity, and their blooms sing "Singing in the Rain" when it rains, (lean in close to hear).

Love in a Mist will grow anywhere, and we love the sculptural and airy shape - it looks funky and modern mixed into a garden bed.

Includes three young plants, grown in 2.5" diameter pots.

Growing Info
How to Plant Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Fill a little bit of the loose dirt back into the hole and tuck your plant in so the base of the stem is even with the top of the hole. Now fill in the rest of the soil around the roots, give the soft ground around the base of your new plant friend a few solid pats to compress the soil onto the roots, and a long, gentle drink of water
Where to Plant Find a place that gets a decent amount of sun, poor soil is fine for this guy
When to Plant Plant outside after your last frost. Avoid the heat of the day when planting — plant in the early morning, late afternoon, or by the light of the moon
When to Expect Blooms Mid-summer through frost
Care Instructions Water regularly until they get established, and give them extra water during dry spells. Pick blooms to encourage more
Extra Credit Love in a Mist leaves and petals are edible with a watercress flavor, and the seeds are widely used as a spice
