Miss Ellen Willmott was an eccentric, award-winning Victorian Horticulturalist who did weird things like plant weeds in other people's gardens. We wouldn't want her as a neighbor, but we'd gladly invite her to parties, and plant in our gardens the enchanting hot-pink sweet peas named in her honor.
