Wowowow. Moon Carrot, Seseli gummiferum, will blow you away with it's intergalactic orbit of blooms atop lacy silver foliage. In the second year (it is a biennial so will not bloom the first year) the large blooms open a mauve pink color, and mature into white.
Planting conditions: Doesn't like to be too wet, prefers full sun, drought tolerant, not picky. Happily thrives in pavement cracks, dry hillsides, and the like. Plant this guy anywhere hot, dry, and in need of some visual punch.
Care: Once they are happy and established in your garden, they are drought-tolerant.
Blooms: Biennial, meaning you plant it, and the first year it grows into a mound of lovely foliage, and the second year it blooms (!) and the next year it typically self-seeds readily so will continue to come back in the garden once it gets established.
Ships: as a plant in a 2.75" diameter pot, in the Spring.
