Oh you clever little thing. Turn newspaper into a soil pot with this simple pot maker. Once your seedlings are ready to transplant, the newspaper will biodegrade quickly so the roots can expand into the surrounding soil. A perfect little craft for the kindergarten teacher in you, and a thrifty way to get growing.
Includes | 1 wooden pot maker, plus simple instructions! |
Instructions | Cut a strip of newspaper about 10" long and 4" tall. Simply wrap the paper around the wooden dowel, folding the bottom ends under the press. Press the dowel into the base with a twist, and voila. Filling the paper pot with damp soil provides the outward pressure that holds the pot together. |
