Clone Ginette Ranunculus are a magical blend of creamy white, pink, and green, in an exquisitely layered spiral.
Ranunculus grow from corms, which are like little bulbs. Figuring out when to plant is a little tricky but don't worry, we'll talk you through it! Once you get them in the ground they really are not hard to grow.

- DIFFICULTY Medium
- CLIMATE They like mild temperatures
- WATER Water regularly when growing
- INDOOR+POTS Grows well in containers outside

How to Plant
Soak in room-temperature water for 4-6 hours before planting, and allow a little trickle of water to run into the soaking bowl as they soak in order to increase the oxygen in the water. Plant 5" apart, 1-2" deep, with the 'claws' of the corm pointing down.
Where to Plant
Ranunculus like good, well draining soil. Enrich with compost for happy plants.
When to Plant
In zones 8 and warmer, plant in the Fall for Spring blooms. If you live in a zone colder than 8, with significant stretches of cold in the Winter, plant in the late Winter/very early Spring instead, about 6 weeks before your last hard frost.
When to Expect Blooms
Fall planted corms bloom for about 6-7 weeks in the early Spring, and Spring-planted corms will blossom for about 4-6 weeks beginning in mid-Spring.
Care Instructions
Water regularly once the foliage emerges, and pick the flowers regularly (Bring the flowers in! Make bouquets! Have fun!) to encourage more blooms. And ask us any questions along the way.
Extra Credit
If growing as a perennial (zones 8-10), allow the foliage to remain on the plant after blooming, to strengthen it for the following Spring.
